Hello everybody hope this trick used by me for star-delta conversion proves helpful to you too:
We are taking here a star connection and making its delta counterpart

Step-1:
Just number the end points of connection. For example just as I did in this shown figure.

Step-2:
Now just draw the corresponding network dat is if you are converting star to delta draw a delta network outside the star network. As shown in figure.


Step-3:
Now jsut use the formula. For using the formula there is a simple trick
R12=R1+R2+(R1*R2)/R3

see the numbers in subscript dat is 1 & 2 shud be written like this and divided by third resistance.

For converting delta to star repeat the same steps but change the formulae

R1=R12*R31/(R12+R23+R31)
 you d'nt have to mug up the formulae just point it out datas we are finding out R1 the resistances in top part are all having 1 as subscript(R12 & R31 or R13) and at the bottom
there is sum of all three resistance dat is (R12+R23+R31)
